Integrate with Broadsign

Integrate with the Broadsign advert player.

  • Enabled by setting %%Adverts.FeedId%% and/or %% Adverts.Banner.FeedId%% to “broadsign”
  • Broadsign is actually playing all the adverts.
  • Connection settings are configured in the <broadsign> section of the project specific \Never Send\Media\project\configs.xml
  • See annotated example. 
  • The Advert plugin creates new common format playlist with just one blank advert in, and saves it to:
    \Never Send\Adverts\{name in plugin settings xml}
  • This common format playlist is then played by the plugin when the Broadsign is playing.
    (So Wayfinder is black behind broadsign).
  • The plugin tells the Wayfinder to hide while broadsign is playing, and to show when broadsign is clicked.
