Using TV Feeds
Can Acquire Player show a TV feed?
Resolution:
Yes. Acquire does support a number of different TV capture cards using our TV App, and some native cards (e.g. BlackMagic and Hauppauge WinTV) through specific Apps. Alternatively some users choose to use a decoder box (e.g. satellite or cable) so that channels can easily be chosen by the user, then use the output on a TV capture card (any of the TV Apps above). Also some users prefer to capture the TV signal on a computer, then stream an IP video stream over the network to the Acquire Player, for which the LiveMedia App can be used.
