Using the Media Streaming App to play URLs

Can the Media Streaming App be used to play or display video on websites?

Resolution:

Yes.  Using the Media Streaming App allows you to display video on websites, such as YouTube.  

To do this, 

1. Create or open a Project and select the Media Streaming App.

2. Open the Media Streaming App settings and input a Media URL.

3. Ensure the Media Type is correctly specified, e.g. if the media is on a Website then you must select this. 

4. If the media plays when you preview, this has been correctly set-up.

TIP: to allow the video to auto-play and appear full screen, input the embed code (if you are using Google Chrome, right-click on the video and click Get embed code and copy the URL but add ?rel=0&autoplay=1 to the end of the URL.  Please note: this should appear in this format: https://www.youtube.com/embed/xPdg0C_203Y?rel=0&autoplay=1
