Using Anti-Virus Software on a Player

No, we would advise not installing any Anti-Virus software on a PC intended for running Acquire Player.  As long as typical security procedures have been taken there is actually little risk of your computer getting a virus.  Also most Anti-Virus programmes will slowdown playback of the content, especially between page changes or stop them playing, such as displaying only a black screen when deploying a project.  

Ultimately, you may decide to install security software on the Player but we would recommend trying playback with and without an Anti-Virus software installed for testing.
