Third Party Integration
Third party applications - such as the Studio DX Stream Deck Plugin - can request group data (players and playlists in those groups) from the Editor.
They can then use that data to send control messages to the players (to switch playlists etc.) and to monitor their status.
Step One
Give a third party application access to one or more groups' data by selecting the app in the group's Settings page.
In this example the Studio DX Stream Deck Plugin will have access to Group 1's data.

Step 2
Send the group data (players and playlists) to the third party apps.
If any third parties have been granted access to group data (see step 1) an Export button will appear in the bottom button bar. Press that button and follow the instructions.
In this example pressing the button will make Stream Deck appear, then the Studio DX Stream Deck Plugin will ask the Editor for the group data.
The pop-up window will reflect this communication.
Once the third party app has the group data it can proceed to communicate with those groups' players.
