System Requirements
Hardware
We do not usually provide hardware as it allows you to choose your preferred supplier but we can provide equipment pre-configured or we can also recommend suppliers we have worked with.
With respect to the player hardware required, the following is a recommended specification. Depending upon the purpose, you may be able to reduce the requirement (e.g. single 4K output) or increase it (Multiple 4K or 8K outputs, synchronization, advanced Apps)

- Windows LTSC build (Windows 10 and Windows 11 are compatible, but may require control of updates)
- Intel i5 or greater (or equivalent)
- 8GB RAM (or higher if more than 2 outputs are required)
- Solid State Hard Disc (M.2 or solid state RAID preferred).
- Nvidia Graphics card (RTX or QUADRO, RTX 2060 or greater for hardware h.264 h.265 decoding support - other cards and cards from other manufacturers will also work)
Network
All Acquire Advanced Players and Acquire Advanced Editor must be on the same local network if using Acquire Advanced Editor to monitor player status and switch content.
Content is not usually streamed, as it is sent once to the players, and played from the local storage device.
You must ensure that the following ports are open on any firewalls

Messages are sent between the Player PCs and the Acquire Advanced Editors using TCP or UDP on port 1969.

Data is exported to 3rd party applications using TCP on port 1970.
- Content updates are sent between the Player PCs and the Acquire Advanced Editor using Point2Point using TCP on port 8765 by default (this can be changed).
Required Software
- Acquire Editor
This must be installed on the PC you want to control your players from.
It needs to be licensed and have the Acquire Editor with the Acquire Advanced Editor feature installed and activated. - Acquire Player
This must be installed and licensed on each Player PC.
