# Mappings
Selecting "mappings"in the[**Player settings**](https://knowledge.acquiredigital.com/dx-player-settings?hsLang=en) will allow you to configure how the output's content is displayed on our monitors. A "monitors" work canvas will be shown below the outputs.
**Note: -** The Default Port is set to **1969**. this can be altered for your network ports.
- Add monitors to your player by clicking the monitors work canvas and then pressing the "Add" Tool Button, or right-clicking on the work canvas and selecting from the context menu.
- Monitors can be moved and sized in the work canvas, or in the settings panel.
**Tip** - To avoid accidental changes, you can lock monitors in the monitors list.
**Tip** - To help with alignment, hold down the control key while moving monitors to snap them together when they are close.
At this point your outputs will drawn by the player at 0,0 of the 1st monitor and this may be all you need. However, if you want to copy portions of the outputs to different places on the monitors you can add now "slices". See: [**Slices**](https://knowledge.acquiredigital.com/slices?hsLang=en)
