Location
This section provides a high-level overview of all projects and their associated units. It is designed to help you monitor unit activity across your estate and quickly identify any devices that may be offline or inactive.
By drilling down into individual units, you can access detailed timestamps and link directly to filtered analytics for deeper insights.
The main view
The main view lists each project (i.e. location or venue) with the number of units assigned to it. You can also view the date on which the most recent unit data was received in the top right corner. Useful for investigating missing data or out-of-service units.
Each individual entry
Each unit listed under a project shows its name, Plus Network ID, and timestamps for when data was first and last collected. Useful for monitoring unit activity and identifying devices that are offline or inactive.
Filter button
Against each unit entry is a button that takes the user to the Audience dashboard filtered for the corresponding project and unit. This allows quick access to engagement and demographic insights for that specific unit. ![]()
Important note
Vision does not manage user permissions for Organisations, Projects (Locations), or Units directly. Access control is handled by Acquire Accounts, and Vision periodically syncs with it to stay up to date. When determining which analytics a user can access, Vision matches each analytics' screen_plus_network_id with the corresponding plus_network_id of a Unit in Acquire Accounts. If the Unit does not exist in Accounts, you will not be able to view its analytics in Vision.
