Label Edit Mode
Transforms unit labels independently from their geometry.

Available as an edit action (select a feature then choose Label) and as the dedicated Labels mode (Alt+L) where every visible label becomes editable at once.
Interaction Flow
- Every visible unit label displays transform handles
- Drag a label body to move it — a connector line shows the anchor to its unit
- Drag a corner handle to scale the label text
- Drag the rotation handle (above the label) to change the text angle
- Hold
Ctrlwhile rotating to snap the label to the polygon's orientation - Switch back to another mode when done
When to Use
- A label is obscured by another map feature
- The default label position overlaps a wall or corridor
- A long unit name needs a larger label box
- The map orientation requires rotated labels for readability

Labels can also be rest by Right Clicking on an object and using the arrow to move it and repostion.

Important
Changes made in Labels mode only affect the label layer. Unit geometry, content, and routing data are not modified.
