Edit an existing Device

Editing an existing Device.

  1. Open Devices.
  2. Find the Device by name, status, group or assignment.
  3. Select Edit.

Update the fields

You can change: 

  • Device name and Device ID.
  • Description.
  • Attached Displays, including their pixel width and height. Keep between one and six displays.
  • Direct Information Display assignments.
  • Device groups.

 The existing Device's project cannot be changed in this form. Changing screen dimensions affects the image sizes required by that player. 

Save the changes

Select Update Device. Beacon validates and saves the complete Device configuration, confirms the update and returns to the Devices list. Select Cancel to leave without saving.
