Doohad not syncing with the Kiosk

The kiosk is not syncing within the DoohAd CMS Screen location so is not pulling down the content to display and/or the unit is showing content but not showing as syncing in Doohad.

Resolution:

  1. Firstly check the unit UID is correct in the screen information and is correct to the unit ID.
  2. Check that none of the screens within that location in the CMS have a duplicate UID which can cause the correct screen show as not syncing.
  3. Make sure the kiosk can access the internet and is not blocked by any firewalls.
  4. Check to see if the unit can access the following URL https://doohad.com/rss?uid=(UID?) if you get no results back it cannot talk to the CMS, if you get results back and shows a title, description of what should be playing then the issue is more likely as the first option above.
