Clear Channel

Play adverts from a Clear Channel feed.

  • Enabled by setting %%Adverts.FeedId%% and/or %%Adverts.Banner.FeedId%% to “clearchannel”

  • Connection settings are configured in the <clearchannel> section of the project specific \Never Send\Media\project\configs.xml

  • Clear Channel has different feeds for full screen and banner.
  • %%adtype%% is used in the url.
  • This is replaced with the value in %%Adverts.AdType%% or %%Adverts.Banner.AdType%%
  • So they should be set to "FULL" and "BANNER" respectively.
  • See annotated example.
  • The Clear Channel feed is converted to the new common format and saved to:

  • \Never Send\Adverts\{name in plugin settings xml}

  • This common format playlist is then played by the plugin.
