# An accidental or incorrect deployment that has been sent to your Player
## Whenever you deploy a project, there is a setting known as Snapshot Scripts and Database which by default is set to on. If you have left it in this state, whenever you do a deployment, Acquire will make a copy of the Acquire Database (used to store details about the Project and Pages), and all of the Scripts used in your project.
If you need to restore to a previous version of either of these, simply use Windows Explorer to browse to one of the following folders and restore from the backups. Ensure that you close all copies of Acquire and Acquire Editor before proceeding:
**Database:**
This is installed in a subfolder within the folder you installed Acquire. Typically this is **C:\\ProgramData\\Acquire\\AcquireDB\\Data** (the folder is hidden by default and may be need to be un-hidden before you can access)
Whichever you wish to use, there will be a ZIP file created every time you deploy your project.
Before overwriting the active file, you will need to temporarily stop the AcquireDB service. To do this, you need to browse to your Control Panel, then click **Administrative Tools**, then click **Services**. This lists all of your services currently running on your computer. Find the **AcquireDB** service, click on it and press the stop symbol at the top of the screen.
Choose the file matching a time you wish to revert to, and unzip the files, overwriting the ones you no longer need. When you have overwritten the database file, start the AcquireDB service again.
**Scripts:**
This is in your Project’s Scripts folder is located. To find it easily, choose the project from the Acquire Editor’s Main Menu, then press Edit to edit the project settings. Press the **Explore** button.
Whichever you wish to use, there will be a ZIP file created every time you deploy your project. Choose the file matching a time you wish to revert to, and unzip the files, overwriting the ones you no longer need.
**IMPORTANT:** this operation is irreversible, so please make a copy of the current files before overwriting in case you need to change them back again. We do not offer support if you have problems caused by use of the process shown above.
