3D Cube

This effect places the two pieces of content on two sides of a cube, and rotates from one to the other (like 3D box). The cube is also split into segements which are rotated individually for a "magic cube" effect. The settings for 3D Cube are listed in the right-hand column.

Direction

The direction of the effect. It can be "up", "down", "left" or "right".

Zoom Out

How much the camera zooms out and in during the effect.

2.5 is a good amount. 4 is dramatic! The maximum is 10.

Half Side Image

  • If empty the content is placed on two adjoining sides of the cube (depending on direction) and it rotates 90 degrees from one to the other.
  • If an image is selected then content is place on the front and back of the cube with this image on the side between them (dependingon direction). The cube rotates a full 180 from one content to the other.

NB - No attempt is made to correct for aspect ratio with this image. 

Segment Side Image

If this image is selected it will be shown on the bottom and top faces when rotating left or right, or on the left and right faces when rotating up or down.

If no image is selected here those faces will be a solid colour (see Segment Side Colour below).

The colour of the bottom and top faces when rotating left or right, or the left and right faces when rotating up or down.

If a Segment Side Image is also specified (see above), this colour will be applied to that.

How many segments to split the cube into.
